This ad was part of a larger substance abuse campaign targeting high school students. It is based on a social norms philosophy where it’s been shown that emphasizing that the majority of kids are not abusing substances is much more effective in stopping abuse than using scare and “do not do drugs” type messages. The style of the ad utilizes vectorized photography and cut-out type animation.
