McKinley County Compliance Identity
County Parole Program
The Compliance Program is a parole system for ex convicts just out of jail or prison in Gallup NM. We wanted a look that conveyed “officer” and the intimidation factor of the sheriff, hence the starred badge and blue/gold color scheme. The client wanted an air of seriousness about the design. The keyhole is a reminder of the lockup and is surrounded by the New Mexico state symbol of the Zia, a circle with sixteen lines in the four directions. Bold lines, stable and unflinching, with the traditional symbols of law enforcement and local governance.
